Highlited French Waterfall Braid!

Welcome back my fashionistas! Today I am going to show you how to create a beautiful highlighted french waterfall braid! Don't worry about the highlighted part, it's completly nontoxic, temporary, and safe on your hair! This hair style has a couple of steps so let's begin! The first step is optional and may not have to be done depending on your hair type. If you have wavy or curly hair you must begin by straightening it. You can obviously use a flat iron if you are pressed for time, but I am going to show you a way to straighten your hair with NO HEAT overnight! If your hair does not need to be straightened, then skip down to the next step.

Step 1: Straighten your Hair

To learn how to straghten your hair without heat, watch the tutorial below.    :)

Step 2 : Highlight!

To create highlights in your hair, you will need,

  • Small spray bottle
  • A box of chalk in different colors

To begin, spray the chalk with water until it is damp enough that the color runs a little. If it gets on your hands don't worry! It washes off with water.  Next, pick up the section of hair you want to be the color you have chosen and  start rubbing the chalk on your hair until it is the shade you would like. For best results, kepp wetting the chalk as you go so the color rubs off better. Repeat this as many times as you want and soon you will have beautiful temporary highlights to show off! The color will remain untill your hair gets wet, or possibly if it rubs off on surfaces such as your pillow if you don't wash off the highlights before you go to bed. You are now ready for the final step!

( the highlights are obviously optional but they make the waterfall part of your  hair more noticeable especially if you have dark hair)

Step 3: Create your french waterfall braid!

This was originally going to be a twisted waterfall braid, but unfortuantly, it is a little complicated to do on yourself, so I decided that the french braid would be just as good! The video below shows you how to do it yourself so that you don't have to have a freind or family member help you! Now you can have cute hair and take all the credit! So watch the video below, comment, and PLEASE BECOME A MEMBER!

Thanks Guys and remember to STAY FASHIONABLE!
