Bake a Cake!

     
HOW TO BAKE A VANILLA CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE FILLING

  Keeping fit and watching your health is a big part of looking beautiful in your fashionable clothes, but sometimes, it's fun to pig out! Make any day a happy day by creating this easy to bake vanilla cake with chocolate filling. Not a fan of cake? Why not bake for fun and host a bake sale for charity? Baking is always fun no matter what, so tie up your apron, wash your hands and clear your kitchen space because things are about to get delicious! Mmmmmm.......................






Materials ( For Filling )

  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 6 semi-sweet chocolate squares
  • Saucepan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Electric Mixer
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • Sifter
  • 3 Cups Sugar

     Does your mouth water at the thought of rich creamy chocolate? Do you long for the fluffiest white cake? Don’t back away from this opportunity! Bake a homemade cake! Nothing satisfies more than the knowledge that the food in your mouth was handcrafted by you and not processed in a  factory months ago with millions of preservatives. Baking is a wonderful skill to acquire and will last you a lifetime! Let’s get started!  


Phase 1: Filling

Step 1
Melt Chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over medium low heat. Stir once melted.

Step 2
Cautiously transfer the chocolate mixture into a medium sized mixing bowl.

Step 3
Add a ½ cup milk and one teaspoon of vanilla extract to the mixing bowl. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Step 4
Slowly add three cups of sifted sugar to the mixture.

Step 5
Blend well.Set aside the fudge until  ready to spread as a filling.











This fudge will serve as the filling for the cake.

Materials ( For Cake )

  • 1 cup  white sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ¾ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • 9x9 inch pan



Phase 2: Cake

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Grease your baking pan in an even coat and set aside.


Step 2
Start creaming the butter and sugar together. Once they are smooth, add the eggs in one at a time keeping a lookout for any shells that may have dropped in. Next, add the vanilla and rest of the dry ingredients. Be sure to mix well. Finally stir in the milk and blend one last time.

Step 3
Pour the batter into the pre-greased pan and smooth the top. Place the pan into the preheated oven and bake for 30-40 minutes. Check on the cake every 15-20 minutes. To know that the cake is finished, stick a fork into it, if the fork comes out clean, the cake is finished.



Wait for the cake to cool before spreading the filling.

Phase 4: Finishing Touches

After the cake is cool, flip it over onto a plate and slit it in half horizontally so that you have to layers of cake.
Separate the two halves and place the top of the cake on a separate plate.
On the bottom half of the cake, evenly spread a generous amount of chocolate fudge.
Once you have spread the filling, place the top of the cake back on.
Ice the cake if desired with either homemade or store bought icing and enjoy!
