Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today I will be putting on a VERY special Thanksgiving post! I will be telling you some super facts about the first thanksgiving! After that, there will be some food friendly fashion and really cut turkey nails! Three posts in one! Let's get started!
BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW
Thanksgiving was originally a three day festival that the pilgrims celebrated to honor a good harvest. That may not be so surprising bu, bet you didn't know that turkey wasn't even on the table! That's right, the first Thanksgiving didn't include turkey, potatoes or cranberry sauce. Just plain cranberries, deer and other items barley seen on Thanksgiving tables today! There wasn't even any pumpkin pie! Thanksgiving was nothing like it is today! George Washington first declared it as a holiday and since then, Abraham Lincon declared it to be on the fourth Thursday in November.
