Cute DIY Wallet!
Hey guys! I haven't done any DIY projects in a while so I thought I would do one today! I will be telling you how to make a cute wallet that you can put together easily right at home! The wallet I will tell you how to make is going to be pink with white polka dots, but you can make it any pattern you like! ( if you want to watch a video on how to make this step by step, scroll down to the bottom of this post)
Materials you will need
- craft cutting board
- exacto knife
- clear packaging tape
- black duck tape
- white duck tape
- pattern duck tape ( any pattern)
Okay now that you know what materials you need, let's get started!
STEP 1: Cut out 8 inch strips of duck tape and stick them together to make a duck tape sheet about 6 1/2 inches tall.
STEP 2: Repeat step 1 on the other side and make sure that there is no sticky showing.
STEP 3: Fold the duck tape sheet in half length wise. It should be about 3 1/2 inches wide.
STEP 4: Cut out 8 pieces of 8 inch tape and make 2 small duck tape sheets ( 4 pieces each) for the billfolds.
STEP 5: Cut out strips that are 3 3/4 inches long. cut enough to cover your board. Stick them together so the sticky sides are completely covered. These will be your credit card pockets.
STEP 6: Watch part 1 to see how to add trim to your pockets if you want it. ( skip to 6 min and watch from there )
STEP 7: Tape down your pockets onto the billfolds you made earlier. Make sure that a credit card can fit inside each one before you tape it down.
